ha ha my experience with madam tv i mean bon was also running along the lines of phone sex too. although it seemed to be masculine type err suggestions if you know what i mean. and laughing. lots of laughing. like yeah baby you wanna baby hahahahahaha etc etc. left me with the impression that bon was very randy indeed.

Yeah, that one picture of Bon with the girl says it all. We don’t think of Bon being subtle, but you’ve got to love the way he gets her to touch him first.

Love Richard Lewer’s drawings. Please post more images of the works there was some hits in the ABC video which you haven’t put up.

Have to say though that Cullen’s painting is proving the point that Cullen has become a joke of an artist. Its a pretty straight translation of a photograph. Now there is nothing wrong with painting from photographs but you have to ask yourself what is the painting adding to the photograph? what does it change?
On this occasion you have to say very little.. Its like Cullen just adds his name, connects his “bad boy” status with Bon’s. Like the wanker who reckoned he played with the greats, I am sure Bon would tell him to “Fuck off” and stop being such a vampire.

Cullen might be “bad boy” but could never have Bon’s “joie de vivre” which is what it’s all about!

so here are two moments that were special for me at last nights exhibition opening. the first one, i was in the girls toilets and i looked up at a poster of bon scott. the one of him with the girl and she’s touching her chin. you know the one i mean? and FLASH like a lightning bolt hitting me i all of a sudden understood. i’d never understood the whole ‘bon scott is hot’ thing. but the attitude, the no shirt, the profile. yup i actually now thought bon scott was hot.

the second was i was up stairs in the crowded letters room and a couple of my friends had just arrived. one leans over to me and says in a hushed voice ’sorry but i’m not very educated in this kind of stuff. is he dead?’ bahahahahahahaa. she lives in freo even! although she is from nsw.

and poor ben missing the opening. he sure did miss something special!

also i called madam tv and it was INTENSE

I was thinking of calling up Madam TV myself, but will probably miss out on that too, due to time difference problems? Hope Ben makes it.

Wish I was there - I will make it over there (from Alabama), one day. I’ll make a bee-line over to Bon’s grave to see what he’s up to…
